Through extensive googling I found one reasonable sounding solution: I went into the registry editor and increased the GPU processing time. Didn't help, only got worse (happened more often). ![]() I re installed Windows, which I needed to do anyway. So far, every time I can remember this happens when I go on Twitter. I don't remember exactly what it says but it starts out "Windows has been shut down to protect your computer." then it mentions something about graphics drivers and not recovering in time. Then my cursor disappears, everything freezes, then crashes and I get a blue screen. Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows Vista(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered."įor about 15 minutes after that everything is fine. Then this message pops up: " Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered. My screen flashes black for a second and resets. I went to Windows support first, got redirected here. ![]()
